What is The Travel Summit?

This conference is the quickest way to learn how to bring your travel skills and experiences to the next level. What does that mean? If you’re like me and you love travel and refuse to pay full price for flights, especially post-vid with exorbitantly priced “revenge travel”, then you want to join the points and miles “game”. At The Travel Summit in Toronto, you’ll learn from the experts how Canadians can earn a ton of travel rewards. More importantly, you’ll learn how to properly redeem them. There will be keynote speakers, networking opportunities, prizes, provided lunches, recordings of the event, and more.

Where and When is the Conference?

This year’s Travel Summit is in one of my favourite cities, Toronto, Ontario! The conference is being held downtown at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Front Street and is close by to many other enticing things to see, do, and eat. I would highly suggest adding a couple of days to either side of the conference to enjoy more of what Toronto has to offer, such as neighbourhoods like Liberty Village, the best bicycle tours in the 6ix, the only full-sized castle in North America, and many arts, culture, and food attractions.

The conference will take place over 3 days, from April 26th to April 28th, 2024. The first year it ran, the event was held in late October, another fantastic time of year to be in Toronto. It’ll be great to welcome everyone to the conference in the spring this time – especially for baseball fans!

Who Else is Speaking at The Travel Summit in Toronto?

I am very much looking forward to sharing the stage with such a stellar lineup of humans and points experts. Some of the other speakers include Canadian friends and colleagues of mine like the wonderful Anshul Singh from Points, Miles and Bling, Ashley Antidormi and Spencer Giles who are building an Airbnb empire, as well as fellow University of Waterloo graduate and ultra points nerd, Scott Kennedy, and long-time travel blogger and Toronto resident Nora Dunn from The Professional Hobo.

There are American speakers as well, such as Julia Menez who hosts the popular Geobreeze Travel podcast, the delightful writer Chris Dong of TheChrisflyer, and heavy hitter Matt Kepnes of Nomadic Matt (and TravelCon). Of course, the Prince of Travel himself, Ricky Zhang, is also on the event lineup. To see who else is speaking at the conference, visit the Speaker page.
